9:10 a.m.
I'm sitting on a bench in a Kansas City Greyhound station. On my way to Fort Smith, Arkansas. I'm listening to the Scientist by Coldplay because of listening to it the other night mainly. The person on the bench behind me is making the backs of our benches hit one another. Fuck. I'm going to be here until 12:55 today. Horseshit. I seriously have to find something to do this whole time. I'm attempting to reflect or something at the moment. Why did I leave Illinois? Not sure entirely. Wanted to leave and get away from distractions and improve and... people smell... my entire bus trip I've smelled PEOPLE. Their food, their breath... Sick. Neecol told me to make some lists of things I want to accomplish while I'm in Arkansas because "three months is going to fly by..." ......ohhh nothin else compares..... It's Clocks now. And now it's 9:20 a.m. Ten minutes have passed. Sigh........... Perhaps I'll begin listing.
..........turn the page..............
go hunting with Amanda and her hubby and whoev
read all the books I brought with me
walk/run everyday
eat healthy
show Neecol the Dexter seasons
make some money at work (obviously)
get a book of my poetry going
(what else... what else...?)
The following are headlines on the news I saw across the room on the tv.
"Sheep Snuggies"
"Medical Marijuana"
And I think just saw a commercial with "Little Chino" in it (from Dexter). Ha.
*I'm leaving the next couple paragraphs out, for viewer's sake. It gets personal for a minute.*
I sat next to a guy on the bus that was going to California. He asked if I had a boyfriend and said the reason he asked is because I'm cute. Ha.
Whatever.
There are so many differnt kinds of media and products in this bus station. One vending machine alone holds 6 or 7 different flavors of Vitamin Water. How necessary is that? What's wrong with regular water? And they put mirrors behind those things so they look more appealing and full.
Is that why people love mirrors?
11:58 a.m.
There's a man near me with a laptop that has a big ol' picture of himself and a woman as his wallpaper. They look really happy. A lot of people seem to have someone. And they take happy, lovey pictures. I want that. So much. I suppose everyone wants something like that though. Can we all have it? I think we should be able to, with such a VAST number of people in the world.
My eyes are so tired. Clearly my brain is too since I'm writing about this lovey, sappy shit.
Still waitin in this bus station. Thumbs down.
....I wanna wake up....
...didn't know what to say when you called me baby... (fuckin Damn Yankees)
